Vampiress' Elegy (from the "Paranormania"-Trio)

An instrumental ballad, that in the verse-like structure of a pop-song depicts the feelings of emptiness of an immortal being lamenting their neverending existence, painting the picture of a pale woman stepping on the balcony of a derelict castle, looking up into the cold moonlit nightsky. 

Featuring a traditional pop-piano-accompaniment, that develops into its on independent voice alongside the melodically oriented Clarinet- and Viola-parts, this "song without words" forms the emotional (and structural) centrepiece of the "Paranormania"-Trio, providing with its emotional depth and heaviness a stark contrast to the other, more lighthearted scenes.
